I am Moushmi Mahato, an emerging artist and proud alumna of Kalabhavan at Visva-Bharati University. My creative journey is rooted in a deep appreciation for traditional craftsmanship, art, and cultural heritage. Through my crochet creations, I blend time-honored techniques with contemporary designs, ensuring each piece reflects both authenticity and modern appeal. Inspired by nature, folk traditions, and evolving lifestyles, I craft unique handmade accessories, gifts, and home décor that celebrate individuality and artistry. Every creation is thoughtfully designed with care, creativity, and attention to detail, bringing together the beauty of traditional crochet and the innovation demanded by today's world.

Kuruush is a genuine and acquired name from the Bengali language that means "crochet".It connects me to my mother and ancestors' women, from whom I learned this traditional art, which I sought to modernise in my crochet films.
